The Toyota certified used warranty spans 12 months or 12,000 miles from the date of purchase. It is a limited comprehensive warranty that covers the replacement of parts that fail under normal use because of defaults.

Used Toyota vehicles also include a 7-year or 100,000-mile Limited Powertrain warranty, which includes travel protection and several components like engine, manual and automatic transmission, and hybrid components. This also includes a 1-year Roadside Assistance Plan, which is available 24 hours a day and has standard services like fuel delivery, towing, and flat tire repair. The Limited Powertrain warranty is available at over 1400 dealerships in the US and Canada.

Additionally, hybrid vehicles have their own warranties that last 8 years or 100,000 miles and replaces parts of the battery that wear down over the years. This warranty is effective from the date of certified purchase, and the battery may come with a previously applied emissions warranty that gives it even more coverage.
